Yes, this post is VERY overdue. Sorry. However, we do still want to tell and show you just how damn good our first event was back in April...
Sooooo, what did we feature on our first line-up on the theme of "Growing Up: Home Truths"? We had the absolute pleasure of screening a stellar all-star female line-up of the following:
- HER FIGHT, dir. Phoebe Stapleton
- TILDYPOPS, dir. Tiggy Bayley and Oscar Downing
- SILVERING, dir. Eilidh Nicoll

The day itself was fantastic: it was a Sunday and the vibes were high. Seriously, we could not have asked for a better launch event and each and every person that was there played a part in that. Big ups to the filmmakers, the audience, and the MOTH Club crew.
Our fantastic mix of films had us impassioned, retrospective, and belly laughing - a pretty great combo if you ask us. The filmmaker to filmmaker interviews were an absolute stand-out, collaboratively providing the audience with real insight and honesty. It was a delight realising what a mixed crowd we had too, bringing those from the industry, those hoping to break into the industry, and those not at all involved with it altogether under one gold glittery roof.
